Sheriff Gary Parsons gathers with some family members on Saturday for the annual Sheriff’s Picnic which was held at Cumberland Bowl Park. The picnic is a tradition since 1980 when then Sheriff R. V. Chadwell initiated the gathering. This year marked the 27th time that Parsons and his staff treated the community to lunch and entertainment. He joined the Lee Pickers with a renditon of In The Jailhouse Now with the group performing throughout the afternoon.
